Matte Me Crazy!

Hey ladies!
So last night at Walmart I bought NYC Matte Me Crazy and I was so excited because there have been times where I really just wanted a matte top coat. So for today's Mani I am wearing OPI If You Moust you Moust from the Minnie Mouse collection. The formula for both polishes ( top coat and OPI) were wonderful. They went on smoothly! So here's my Mani
For today

Thanks :)

UH Gameday nails!

So on my vacay, I found a brand that I don't have near me, called Spoiled. Which is a very pocket friendly brand by the way. So I snatches up two colors that screamed at me from the rack. I needed a nice red and glitter mix for when I go back to University. And since our colors are Red and Black. I loved this. And the formula was to die for. Very smooth.
Base Coat: I Tripped on The Red carpet
- 2 coats to be opaque
-very smooth

Glitter : Shuffle the Deck
- smooth
- but I had to fish just a little
- 1 coat with touch ups for picture

It's My Year OPI

Hey guys! So my vacation is going great! I'm having a blast, but since i am gone I thought id try to throw in a post.
This is OPI IT'S MY YEAR!
It's more of a fall polish than summer but my roommate had it in her stash and i knew I needed to at least try it out!
It's a purple/gold duochrome with buckets of fine gold shimmer. It's very memorizing. I also added a blurry photo so you could see how glittery it is. Tell me what you think :)

Another Glitter Mani!

Hi Ladies,
So I loved my Milani Diamond Dazzle polish soooo much that I couldn't resist layering it over another color of mine for a beautiful glitter-acious (I totally made that word up) Manicure. I layered it over China Glaze Kiwi-Cool-Ada, which is a neon lime green. I had to use to layers of China Glaze fast foward top coat to smooth this out since the Milani Polish dries a little textured. I hope you enjoy!

NOTD Glitter Mani :)

Hello Lovelys,
I'm doing this post from my mobile app, so it might look a little funny. I am going to be going on Vacation to Oklahoma for a week to visit my college roommate and her family! I might be Mia for a few days. But I promise to try to squeeze in a post.

Ok so now down to business.
I bought a new pretty glitter today . I bought Milani diamond dazzle. It's almost like a shimmer/glitter. It's very fine. Just by looking at the bottle I see golds, purples, greens, silvers and blues. It's so dazzling, the name is spot on. I just keep turning the bottle over and staring at it. I layered it over Fingerpaints michealtangelo, which is my go to orange because it's just fantastic and I'll do a review on it eventually. I hope you guys like. Tell me what you think of my layering combo!

All photos are in the shade except the last one! It's in sunlight! :)))

NOTD- Fishtail Mani!

Hello Lovelys,

So I spent the afternoon with my boyfriend. It was just a good relaxing day. Unfortunately I have to go back to work tomorrow. So I decided to do a simple manicure for tomorrow for work. I ended up Doing a Fishtail accent nail.
For this I used a Sally Hanson White, ( I don't know the exact name, it rubbed off) :(
for the colors in the fishtail I used.
1. Sally Hanson Blue Me Away ( The light blue)
2. Orly Charged up (The purple)
3. Petites Pretty in Pink (The pink)

So I really hope you guys like this. Tell me what you think :) (But be gentle, this was only my first attempt)

I Just Spotted the Lizard OPI

Hello Lovlies,
So In my last post, I mentioned that I bought a beautiful polish from the OPI Spiderman collection. I bought Just Spotted the Lizard.
This is a beautiful polish and I loved it so much that I even put it on my toes!
Just Spotted the Lizard is a gold/green duochrome with hints of a blue if the light hits the nail in just the right angle. It also has gold shimmer in it. I love this so much, I can't say how much I love this polish. It's definitely one of my favorites.  It'll be a go to polish. The application was divine. It was pretty opaque in one coat, but I went ahead and did two just to be sure.

Here is Two coats of Just Spotted the Lizard with a top coat of China Glaze Fast Foward. (Which I'll eventually get around to reviewing)

All of these pictures are in low light, but they are pretty accurate. I'll update with a picture in the sunlight eventually though. :)

Thanks for stopping by.
Tell me whatcha think

OPI Ballet Today

Hello,
So I was at a local department store when I came across a few OPI displays, which, was a shock since I was in a department store. They had the Spiderman and Ballet collections. So I couldn't resist. I did limit myself to only 1 of each. I'll have a swatch of my spiderman one soon. Today I am showing you OPI Care to Danse? This is a beautiful lilac  tinted sheer polish. Its so sheer that I ended up using 4 coats on most fingers and 5 on a few.  The polish was awesome to apply. Not thick or thin. Just the right formula.  It built up beautifully which was awesome. I can see myself wearing this polish to a job interview which is awesome cause normally I just clean up my nails and put a clear coat on for those since I like to look clean and neat. So I'll stop babbling and show you the pictures.

Hunger Games Collection 3 More Polishes

HEY!
So  I'm pretty sure if you read nail blogs often you'll have seen many swatches and reviews of this collection. I bought them for 1.50$ and I hadn't swatched them yet. So here are three more from the Hunger Games collection.

China Glaze Agro
So, this was my least favorite of the 4 that I bought. Its a olive-ish green metallic polish with a bunch of gold shimmer. In the bottle it just screamed "Buy me" I was so in love. On the nail I wasn't so pleased. I had streaking problems with it. Maybe if I took a little extra time with this polish if I do decide to use it for a mani I would look better.  It was opaque in 1 coat, which was nice.
(sorry again about the photos, I'll be using my Iphone until my camera gets fixed) :(

This last photo was with no flash.

China Glaze Stone Cold
-EEEEEEK! I was so excited to see this in the $1.50 bin, I had been trying to find it because not a lot of beauty stores carry the collection anymore. I read a bunch of reviews and seen a bunch of swatches and just ached for this polish. It did not dissapoint. Stone Cold is an amazing dark grey matte. This polish is also my favorite matte polish.  It applies perfectly, completely opaque in one coat.

China Glaze Dress Me Up

Dress Me Up looks to me like a dusty rose taupe.  Its a beautiful nude polish. This is a go to color for when you don't want anything extremely flashy but simply beautiful. Pretty opaque in one coat, but I applied 2 just to be on the safe side.

China Glaze Foie Gras - Hunger Games Collection

SO! I have 2 sets of good news!
1. I got 4 new China Glaze Polishes :)
2. One of my best friends had her baby girl!
So I went to Sally's beauty supply around noon when I was getting lunch while waiting on my friend to have her baby and they happened to have a bucket full of china glaze, orly, and fingerpaint polishes for 1.50. I couldn't resist. I'll do swatchs of the other 3 I bought eventually. But this was the one i was the most excited about. Its a beautiful Dusty taupe creme with the slightest hint of Purple. The formula was great. Opaque in only 1 coat. I finished it off with China Glaze fast drying top coat. But this was a beautiful simple mani. Sorry about the quality of the pictures. I took them with my iphone so they aren't the best. But i thought I'd at least share my new colors with you. This is China Glaze Foie Gras.
And I met my friends daughter today. They named her Callie Rae. How cute and country. :)
Have a great day everyone. Comment and tell me what you think of this color.
